![]() ![]() Had some time last tonight to play, and I thought an interesting note. I still prefer good old fashioned interaction with people. So I would be very interested to see if anyone else runs both, and if you have any real world comparisons you can show. The CAM module would not install, we finally found out, due to Autodesk releasing 2020 Inventor, but not 2020 CAM. Unfortunately, I am only getting 2 days to play around with the system, we started our "trial" on the 11th of April. My machine is currently set up for another job, so I cannot run this part to make a visual, measurement comparison, but I do have a couple more parts I will be programming to compare. ![]() Same post processor, exact same settings, Inventor posts out 3841. I get different code, using the same post processor.Ī short part I tried out this afternoon to start experimenting is 4890 lines of code from Fusion. When selecting the actual programming, I get quite different results. I am personally quite surprised at the differences I am getting both with programming and when posting out programs. Does anyone here run both? Can you post some real world side by side comparisons? The environments, settings, dialog boxes, and even visual appearance is the same. On the surface, most everything is the same between the two systems. We have been working with an Autodesk Reseller to move from Fusion to Inventor due to several unresolved issues in Fusion.
